Tech Tip of the Day: How to clear the Auto-Complete Cache in Outlook 2010
Description: Microsoft Outlook 2010 has a feature called Email Address Auto-Complete. When typing an email address into the TO:, CC: or BCC fields Outlook shows a list of matching email addresses from the auto-complete cache, that is to say email addresses that have already been used. This article describes how to clear this list in Outlook 2010.

- Click on the File tab and select Options.

- Click on the Mail button.

- Scroll down to the Send messages section.

- Click the Empty Auto-Complete List button.

- A box will pop up asking if this is really what you want to do. Click Yes.

- Click OK to close the Outlook Options dialog.

Tech Tip of the Day: How to add an RSS Feed in Outlook 2010
Description: This article describes how to add an RSS feed in Outlook 2010.
An RSS feed allows anyone to publish frequently updated works such as blog entries and news headlines in a standardized format. RSS feeds benefit publishers by allowing them to syndicate content automatically in a standardized XML format that allows many programs to receive updates.

- To add an RSS feed to Outlook 2010, right click on RSS Feeds on the left panel.

- Click Add a New RSS Feed.

- A box for adding the feed will appear.

- Type or paste (ctrl+c) the address of the desired RSS feed and click Add.

- A box will appear verifying that the RSS feed should be added. Click Yes.

- The feed has now been added as a folder in Outlook 2010.

Microsoft Outlook cannot start, Cannot open the Outlook Window
Description: You click on the outlook icon and wait, the program never opens and you receive an error "Cannot start Microsoft Outlook, Cannot open the Outlook Window."
Your Outlook program will not open the Window. The error message says "Cannot Start Microsoft Outlook, Cannot open the Outlook Window." The program appears to be starting up, but then crashes.
The way to correct this issue is listed below.

The way to correct this issue is listed below.
- Click on the Start button and then Click on Run (for Windows XP only), or Click on
start and type run in the search bar at the bottom of the start window.

- Then click on Run at the top.
- The run box will appear, type in the following command: outlook.exe /resetnavpane

- Click OK
- Click on the Outlook Icon, the program should now open without any problems.
