- First navigate to the web site you would like to set the home page to, for this document it will be www.microcentertech.com .
- Click on Tools. If Tools isn’t displayed, press the Alt key on the keyboard. It should now be displayed under the address bar.
- Select Internet Options from the list.
- In the Internet Options menu, set the home page by clicking on Use current, then Apply. When complete, click OK to return back to the website.
Your home page has now been set. When you open Internet Explorer, it will open to this page.

How to Change your Home Page in Internet Explorer
This is a guide on how to change the home page in Internet Explorer. The home page is the first web site to be displayed when you open Internet Explorer and can be changed to any web site that you choose. This method of changing the home page works in Internet Explorer version 6, 7, 8 and 9.
