For instructions on creating backups in Outlook 2002/2003/2007, go to Microsoft Support’s website for assistance.
To Export Outlook .pst File:
- Start Outlook program.
- Click File » Open » Import.
- In the menu box, select Export to a file.
- Click Next.
- Select Outlook Data File (.pst).
- Click Next.
- Select folder to export from.
- Click Next.
- Rename file or keep default name.
- Click Finish.
To Import Outlook .pst Backup:
- In Outlook, go to File » Open » Import.
- Select Import from another program or file.
- Click Next.
- Select Outlook Data File (.pst).
- Click Next.
- Locate the .pst file using the Browse button.
- Click Next.
- Select folder to import from.
- Click Finish to initiate import process.
