How to Add an Internet Calendar to Microsoft Outlook 2010

This is a how-to article for Microsoft Outlook 2010 on the topic of adding a calendar from the Internet to the Calendar display.
Note: This article assumes that you already have the link to the calendar in .ICS format.

  1. In Outlook, click on Calendar in the bottom left.

    Select Calendar option
  2. Along the top, click on Open Calendar.

  3. On the submenu that opens, choose From Internet.

  4. Paste the URL (Ctrl+V) for the Calendar ICS file to add.

  5. Click OK.
  6. When prompted to Add this Internet Calendar to Outlook and subscribe to updates, choose Yes.

  7. Click on the arrow next to the calendar name to minimize it to a tab, or expand it to a side-by-side view.
