- Close any open programs on the Mac
- Click on the Apple Icon in the top left corner of the screen, then choose
System Preferences
- On the new System Preferences window, select Dock
- On the Dock window, check or uncheck the "Automatically hide and show the Dock" option to your preference.
- The setting is automatically saved. Close the window to complete the walkthrough.

How to disable the firewall in ESET Smart Security 5
ESET Smart Security 5 comes with a personal firewall enabled. This guide will walk through how to
disable the firewall entirely or just disable components of the firewall.
- Open the ESET software by clicking Start, All Programs, clicking the
ESET Folder, opening the ESET Smart Security (or NOD32 Anti Virus) folder, and finally clicking on
ESET Smart Security (or NOD32 Anti Virus).
- Press the F5 key to open the Advanced options window
- Click the + sign to the left of Network
- Click the + sign to the left of Personal Firewall
- Click the link for System Integration
- Under the System Integration drop-down menu select Personal firewall is completely disabled to disable the firewall.
- Click OK and Exit the ESET Smart Security window to complete the process.

How to enable the Wireless Radio on an HP Mini 110 or 210 Series Netbook

- On the keyboard the key used to enable or disable the wireless radio is the F12 key.
- Press the F12 key which has the symbol
. If the radio is switched on the wireless indicator will be white.
- If the wireless radio is turned off the Wireless Indicator light will be amber.
- If the radio is turned on or off, the Wireless Assistant icon in the system tray will display the status.

Enable the touchpad on an HP ProBook 4525s Notebook
This article describes how to enable the touchpad on an HP ProBook 4525S notebook.
When the HP ProBook 4525S notebook computers were shipped from the manufacturer, the touchpad could be turned off by default or accidentally turned off. To allow the touchpad to activate you will need to turn on the adapter when setting up the PC for the first time.

- On the touchpad in the upper left hand corner there is a small circle. This button turns on/off the touchpad.
- Tap the small circle once and the touchpad will turn on. When it is switched on, the circle will be
blue.
- Tap the small circle again and the touchpad will turn off. If the touchpad is turned off the Indicator is blank or not lit up.
